This seems so obvious, but it'samazing how many people seldom smile. I certainly did when I saw your photo of the cute smiling baby! Another thing that makes me smile is encounters with animals, especially pets – not just my own, but other people's pets on a walk, or in a store, or best of all, at the Dog Park – the Happiest Place on Earth!
One of my favorite things is to "flirt" with babies in the grocery store. When they smile or laugh, my day is a success. And, yes, I agree that most animals (not reptiles or squirrels) do bring about that same sense of calm, comfort and joy that babies do.
Lovely post, Judith! I love smiling at babies and little kids at restaurants and stores. It makes me feel really good when they smile back, and they always do. Smiling is a wonderful form of communication. Thanks for this post.
In some ways it is really amazing that such a simple act brings us so much joy! Keep smiling!!!
I know I am a tad bit late but she is BEAUTIFUL Grandmamma! (and she very much made me smile) Thank you for sharing this post. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Kelli. It isn't a problem to be a 'tab bit late'. Every comment is appreciated no matter when it arrives! Hard to believe she'll be 3 months old next Monday.
