Reply Judith Ashley on November 8, 2016 at 5:36 am Thanks, Madelle. I will admit I miss those smiles and hugs. She has also mastered the 'evil eye' that on an 18 month old is really funny. However we do not laugh at her but we do turn away or our hands fly to cover our mouths. What I miss the most, besides the smiles, hugs and kisses is just seeing her learn something new every day. They change so fast at this age. The good thing is that I've learned to do Skype so I'll have some face time with her soon! Having had one or both of my granddaughters living with me for over 20 years, I'm grateful they've created safe, loving lives for themselves and I can be 'just a grandma' again.
